About Us

Birth Choice of the Desert is a friendly refuge for a woman of any age, who thinks that she may be pregnant.  We are a safe place where women can take all the time they need to work through their own situation, without pressure. We're here to listen and guide.  It's one of the things we do best.  We offer not only our friendship, but also emotional support and material resources a woman or girl may need.

Birth Choice of the Desert has been serving the Coachella Valley sine 1991.  We are staffed by a group of experienced and train volunteers, under the supervision of Director Patty Stringer, BSW.  Patty joined our staff in December of 2008 and brings with her many new ideas to the center, to help the center more effectively serve it's clients.  Julieta Caballero is now Assistant Director of Spanih Ministries and will be leading our Coachella Center.  Our Coachella Center will be opening in the next couple of months.
